We wanted to make the fit for this kit as snug and efficient as possible and the best way to do that was to bolt the 75-5078 directly to the side of the truck. This eliminates the need for the stock mounting rack and creates the most solid mounting point imaginable. With the stock mounting rack out of the picture, it freed up some extra design space, so we went huge with the air box utilizing every last bit of open engine space.

Yes, we included two openings to feed insane amounts of air to your engine. It makes use of the stock housing inlet while adding even more cool air with a secondary snorkel pulling air from the fender liner.
An extremely large filter.
All things equal, the more surface area on a filter, the better it will perform. This filter is so big, you may need a hoist.
